CRT is the way to go! Kidding. I have a 34 inch Philips CRT that I wanted to move to my basement. It took three and a half of us. Two of my friends came over to help and after we moved it part way we put it down and asked my wife to help to. The thing weighs almost 200lbs with no good place to grab it.

With the exception of a few major flaws the TV works good enough for me to keep it until it dies, though I wont be upset when it dies.

My main TV is a Sony LCD which I am still happy with after 3 years.
