Well they allowed it for sure.

I might understand a UW player skipping a bowl. I wouldn't be happy about it, but might understand it. But in no way would I be happy seeing them on the sideline during the game they didn't feel willing to play in. If you can't stand up for your teammates because of fear of injury then take your selfish ass back home.
Fair enough.

I can't answer that, you would have to ask Freeman. Didn't McCaffrey do the same thing last season with Stanford in their bowl game?
I'm asking you, you're defending the choice. We all understand the reasoning behind it, but it's a bitch move. Sort of like everyone understands why someone would shove someone out of the way running out of a burning building, it still makes them a terrible person.

So, once they hit four losses and it was clear a conference title and/or good bowl was out of the question, why keep playing if it's okay to bail for a lower bowl anyway?

And as I said before, I can't answer that question. You would have to ask Freeman. I don't know Freeman's circumstances.

DAMN IT! heart broken here.

Helluva fight given no Freeman out there and all the turmoil these players had to go through these past couple weeks.

FIGHTING DUCKS!!!

But, But, But...

Great career for Freeman and I was so happy he came back for this season, but we are loaded at RB and will be just fine with our stable of RBs that we can rotate in there. In fact, the rest of our RBs are way faster.

I believe Freeman's condition is called "limp dick syndrome"

exactly. hell, why even play the season? why not just sit out all season for that ever-precious NFL contract? football's scary, you might get hurt!

I like what Dabo had to say about it. He said he didn’t understand it. He said why even play at all. Why not either just sit for the season or declare (if you’re eligible).

I'm sure that OD would like to explain why Oregon's loss today is USC's fault.

Go ahead OD

The senior running back, who owns nearly all of Oregon's rushing records, will not play in Saturday's Las Vegas Bowl, Oregon coach Mario Cristobal confirmed on Thursday.

"We have a very tight-knit group and we discussed it as a family," Cristobal said. "We're always making sure we communicate, so that decision is respected. It's something we spoke about early and a big part of that discussion was being able to respect the decision, always mutual respect."

Don't flatter yourself bro, not everything is about USC, but I understand trying to stay relevant here.

You're really trying to accuse a fan of this year's conference champions of trying to stay relevant?

If you say so...

Did USC win the conference title this year? I must have forgotten because usually the conference champ from the Pac-12 goes to the CFP. Thanks for having a great year.
