Arizona State practices the "lunge" tackling technique. Wrapping up and making good contact are for suckers. Why put a good, square hit on someone when you can throw yourself at them and fall off so every single play requires 2 or 3 guys to make a stop?
ASU's offensive line makes everyone's defensive line look stout. They get no push. Ever. I understand they're trying to create creases and just seal people off, but there's no such thing as a basic 4 or 5 yard downhill plunge in this offense.
