Can't freaking wait. Lets make this board relevent, at least keep people posted on your own team. NCAA baseball lacks the coverage I want, this is pretty much a source of mine other than box scores.

I'm with you. Last year was the first season for this board and it garnered fair interest. Maybe we can get a few more involved this year. I know those PAC12 guys love their baseball. Might have to venture in their threads and promote this one.

yep. I'm taking the wife and kids to the ballpark that Saturday or Sunday. Not sure which one yet. I'm leaning towards Saturday if I can see either The Citadel or Louisville play. CItadel because their our hometown boys along with CofC and Louisville because they're starting the season ranked 16th.

LVille always has a pretty solid squad. I liked their team last year, wouldn't shock me if they made a run again.

The Big 12 coaches have picked K State#22 to repeat as Champs. OSU and TCU#19 are tied for 2nd, followed by Texas#18(last last season), OU, Baylor, WVU, Tech and Kansas. I State does not play baseball.
K State returns 6 starters and had the #2 team batting Avg. last season(.322).
Texas returns a pitching staff that were almost all injured last season, the top hitter in Mark Payton(.393) and brings a highly ranked recruiting class(#2 by one).

That's one of the positive features of the school and conference networks. They will be broadcasting a lot of baseball games and other sports that the major networks ignore.
The Longhorn Network broadcasts baseball and even softball games. If only one of the satellite providers carried it, I might actually subscribe.
All home Longhorn baseball games to be broadcast.
