Lebrun was saying that vegas and the sens were talking trade of Karlsson up until the last few moments before the deadline yesterday ... he said this was confirmed to him by Wings management who said the Vegas deal for Tatar was being held up by the discussions Vegas was having about Karlsson ... Wings told Lebrun the Tatar deal would not happen if Karlsson was going to Vegas because Vegas would be shipping those draft choices proposed for Tatar to Vegas for Karlsson instead ???

/I will still accept any takes that Lebrun may be full of shit though lol

I think Dorion was absolutely listening, which was kind of my second point. And he may have been given a mandate to trade EK because Melnyk is bonkers. If EK hadn't asked to be dealt then you shut those rumours down and say it's not happening. They didn't, which is dumb on so many levels.

I really do think that Karlsson would stay if Melnyk would fuck off or even just keep his nose out of things. I doubt he will though.
