Yes, this game has turned into a laugher, but Gaudreau gets no calls/respect from the zebras.

I didn't watch this one because despite paying five trillion dollars for TV rights SN only seems to have more than a token game on Saturday nights but you'd think Gaudreau would get some respect from the zebras after he didn't call them out after he got hurt. Another guy might've bitched and whined about calls.

Randy Carlyle left Jonathan Bernier in for 8 goals, but he had a very good reason

The situation might have called for Carlyle to pull (Bernier) but Gibson, who played Saturday in Edmonton, was suffering from stomach flu and diarrhea. Had Gibson been in condition to play, Carlyle said he would have pulled Bernier after the fourth Calgary goal.

I think if I were Gibson, I would have preferred the OC Register just say I was sick and left it at that.

Former Colorado Avalanche winger Marek Svatos had codeine, morphine and an anti-anxiety medication in his system when he died of combined drug intoxication last month, the Douglas County Coroner’s Office said Monday. Svatos, 34, of Kosice, Slovakia, was living in Lone Tree when he died on Nov. 5.

He had a history of heroin use and had gone through drug rehabilitation, according to the coroner’s report. He also had suspected depression, prior suicidal ideation, and “recent life stressors.”

“Drug paraphernalia was found at the scene,” the report said. Blood panels found traces of codeine, morphine and the anti-anxiety medication Xanax.

Geez, sounds like a guy who was battling several demons.

I hope the Vegas fans like watching LMAFO not able to stop a beach ball come next season.

Anyway Bryan Rust had a HT with an even strength goal, penalty shot and empty net goal.

Then Anderson faced 43 shots before being pulled. I guess thats what you get when Dion Phaneuf is your shutdown d-man.
