rather odd timing.
you would have thought it would be done with a couple of days to spare so folks could plan trades with vegas to protect certain players.
Unless McPhee thought he could get it all done in a couple of hours.

You can still make trades though, the deadline is actually just a playoff eligibility date (which obviously isn't a problem for the Knights this year).

yes, I realize that.
just figured McPhee would want to be in on the action in the last couple of days.

Once Hanzal figures out the offense and defense Minnesota looks primed up for a playoff run.

PK returns to the Bell Centre tonight, I'm thinking he gets a rousing ovation.

Could be, would be a great story too, the 2000 expansion cousins meeting in a Cup final, be the 2nd time 2 post 1990 expansion teams have been in a cup final. (Ottawa/Anaheim in 2007 is the other)

Poor Jeff Rimer is struggling. I've heard:
Korpisaski
Brandon Dorbaski
Dubnynski
Bobroroksi
Berenski
Korpoliski

Goaltending matchup is as advertised. No score in the second shots 21-12 Jackets.
