Unreal.

I just don't see how that's possible. With PG, they had some amazing albums. Without PG, some good ones and a ton of commercial success. How the fuck do they justify having Cindy Lauper in, but not a single Genesis album?

What about Phil Collins solo albums?

Nope.

Cyndi Lauper at #487...

Arctic Monkeys at #371.

You cannot tell me that either Zappa or Genesis don't belong in there at 487.

No Zappa either.

Bogus list... but we knew that going in.

Agreed. Still I think it's pretty fucked up to completely omit those two.

Someone said there's no Yes on there, either.

500 fucking albums. It's egregious, I tell you!

If Aja isn't in there, then that list can just suck my dick.

Are you referring to Steely Dan or Yes??

I can see where you'd be confused - I was all over the place. Someone mentioned Yes wasn't in, and then I thought of Aja by Steely Dan.

You can't read my mind, fucker?

Among my problem with that list... way too many anthologies. Example... Curtis Mayfield (an absolute favorite of mine) is on the list twice. Once for "Superfly" (#72) and once for an anthology with the Impressions (#178). That's kind of bogus to me. Mayfield's first solo album gets way too little appreciation. That is one bad ass album.

Yeah, that's almost like cheating. I think it's just their way of including all time greats who were primarily singles artists. It's still cheating, though... why not Hot Rocks or the Beatles red & blue albums if they're going to include them.

Word.

I'm listening to an absolutely muddled station I made on Pandora and Chamber of 32 Doors was on, which got me thinking about it.

If Omar is right, it's fucking crazy that not a single Genesis album makes the top 500. Outkast is in there, for fuck's sake.
I agree that Genesis not making it sucks, but Outkast is t'bomb. Tell him, @broncosmitty
