Stepped the fuck up this week!!! One of their better games if you ask me. Run and pass blocking were great. Glad to see a CB finally make a big play, and that is what Russell did!! I have been screaming for that secondary to do something. To many easy passes being given up. I hope this is a start.

Tough win vs a powerful offense in USC. Has to build confidence in this team....

It still seems like we miss a lot of tackles.

Yes our tackling is really bad. Especially Joe Schmidt. Leads the team in miss tackles. He really needs to be replaced. Just tough because he is our QB on D. J. Smith had a great game.

Well it seems like they improve some as the game goes along but they always seem to start slowly on defense like they didn't really game plan for what they are seeing or something.

Yes, tackling has been a huge issue. Seems more with the LB/S than the DL. This is the perfect time to have a week of tackling drills. Get back to the basics.
