Whether we like it or not alts are a part of CFB now, I think ND has done a decent job with them, and I really like IU's. That said, those are horrible unis.

What part of OU having white helmets back in the early days did you not understand? Seems to me NU took their helmet design from us. But then maybe both schools had white helmets back then...and Bama needs to learn to beat OU before accusing them of wanting to be like Bama.

I don't like alt unis (especially for classics like OU), but I've definitely seen MUCH worse than this. This is really not too bad.

I'm coming around on them. At first I was thinkin hell no but I'm sure IF it's a once in a while thing I'm fine with it and since I have zero say in the matter it really doesn't matter what I think anyway.

Those are absolutely hideous. It's like Nike is saying a big "F You" and mocking them by providing them with those awful unis. I've personally never liked Oklahoma's colors or their unis, but they should have kept that classic OU look and not monkeyed with it. OU's history, tradition, and brand speak for itself. They don't need to concern themselves with keeping up with the Joneses much like a Notre Dame, USC, Penn State, or an Alabama. It comes across as a bit desperate if you ask me.

It worked, didn't it? Boise may have beaten Oklahoma, but they will never BE Oklahoma and we all know it. Boise needs its Blue turf (which I personally love). They need their sick ass uniform combinations that Nike blesses them with (love our unis and love our school colors). They need any gimmick or attention getter that they can possibly come up with, Oklahoma no so much. Like I said before their brand speaks for itself.
