Ah, he also posted some crazy shit on the politics board apparently. Check the Penalty Box at the bottom. I wouldn't have banned him but he was leaving the known worl for a bout 6 months anyway so I figured he would go out in a blaze of glory.

He said he's leaving for 6 months and "wanted to go out with a bang"

So much for player safety. Two weeks in a row, two players get knocked out only to be let back in the game. First it was Dantonio letting Gholston back in and tonight Kiffin let Woods back in after missing only 1 play.

Player's helmet pops off because he won't strap it on tight: ZOMG! He has to come out of the game for safety!

Player falls on his face like he's drunk because he just got KO'd: Nothing to see here, play on!

I honestly thought Al would do well at GT. We've had his number, but the guy has put up some decent defenses in his time. His biggest weaknesses were HC related, evident in his NFL and UVa years. Maybe it was a lack of time or talent or the offensive system down there that hurt him. Perhaps I just overestimated his defensive knowledge. Either way, Al will be missed.

I think Groh was just in denial about the defensive scheme he was trying to run. Only a handful of programs can run and recruit the guys to play a true 3-4 defense and be top 10 every year. GT can get some good players..but not Alabama players.

I agree, Johnson may be on his way out if he can't get it done and get this team to a decent bowl..which would suit me fine. I hate the fucking triple option..it always gives our team fits even though we usually come out on top.

I stand corrected, maybe we are stuck with him for alittle while longer

...from HD who wrote a little piece on Disney Blog taking a little bit of a shot at Paul the Douche Johnson

"His current contract runs through 2016, and according to Ken Sugiura of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution, it would cost the athletic department $10.485 million to fire Johnson after this season. Georgia Tech is already on a tight budget."
