Silver lining. When Erasmo comes back they should slide him into Phelps spot instead of trying to start him, which theoretically should allow Miranda the 5th spot.

Well the new Out of the Park baseball game came out today, so at least i can make the Mariners good in that at least.

Went to probably around 15-20 games last year. As a fan that makes me happy. I'd easily pay extra to avoid a line.

Watching the game live right now and Robbie looks like he has gained a substantial amount of weight. Just saw him hit a double, and his swing is still there, but he looks like he gained some weight.

Another thought: For a guy who who hit 25 HRs last year, Ryon Healy has a really unorthodox plate approach. Doesn't seem to generate power from his center of body, purely an upper body guy. Swings too much. He is a guy who actually looks somewhat raw, but has managed to produce.

• Dan Vogelbach (batting .400) is showing what they hoped to see from him when they acquired him from the Cubs, so he would seem to be a candidate to make the team, particularly with Ryon Healy out. Ryan Divish of the Seattle Times wrote about Vogelbach’s change and approach regarding his swing.
• There are many first basemen still available, of course, so there could be some late movement.
• Seattle was talking to the Royals about a deal involving minor league players, according to Robert Murray of FanRag Sports.
