99% of my friends said the same thing to me about the Seahawks from 2008 to 2011.

You can't even compare the 2 franchises though.... One has good ownership who cares, and the other doesn't... Mariners and Seahawks don't even belong in the same sentence ... EVER...

In 2008 the team was full of old, overpaid players who were going nowhere. The team looked far from a playoff appearance. I get your point, but the Seahawks did look desolate in 2008 and 2009.

That eventually happens to every team at some point... You have to rebuild ... difference is the M's take 15 years to rebuild, Seahawks take 4 years... One ownership cares about winning, the other one doesn't ... Mariners have been one of the worst run sports franchises in the history of pro sports... Seahawks are a 1st class organization from top to bottom ...
