i'd say that depends on A) how well he bounces back from this injury, and B) who the Lakers acquire in 2014 through FA. he may get #6, he may not. guess we'll see what the Lakers F.O. will do. i wouldn't count him out just yet...

Not the worst lineup in the world. I'm not predicting trophies here, but this is a roster that can compete in the playoffs. There won't be any controversies - this will be Kobe's team.

You are dealing with salary cap issues as well as a mediocre FA class next if you subtract the Heat players.

Best case scenario, as you are laying out would give you a decent team. I agree.

I really don't disagree with anything (other then the Rockets won't smoke you this year) that you guys wrote.

My comments/predictions were based on how I see things as of today.

What the Lakers are doing to cut payroll, sign players to 1 year deals to preserve cap space is exactly what they should do.

What I find funny, and is now showing just how hypocritical some of you are is that you ripped the Heat for doing the exact same thing heading into 2010.

That doesn't include me. I never had any problem with what Riley did or free agents choosing where they wanted to play.
