Whatever the reasoning it's interesting to see someone spurn a team like the Patriots

He spurned the Patriots for more money from the Saints. He's not stupid. Visit the Patriots because you know the Saints want you bad and that by visiting the Patriots, they'll panic and up their offer. which they did. Fairly was not an extreme need for the Pats and they made him the same offer they made Pork Roast yesterday. Minimal salary as a rotational interior DL. Fairly isn't that good and he's had injuries.

Agreed about him not good enough to play on the Pats elite D. Man, have you SEEN the defensive weapons on that team? No way this guy is good enough to crack that roster! I've never seen anything like it.
