Clipps tank because of DS?

I doubt it. Seems the players would unite for no more than themselves. I sure wouldn't want a Clipp FA that was guilty of "tanking" because of what some yahoo owner did/said. I am sure all the current players already had a good idea of who they were playing for because of DSs lingering muses of the past.

Will be interesting to see how all this plays out thru the rest of the playoffs for the team.

They won't tank, but...

1. The faster they're eliminated the sooner the controversy, or at least the media interest in it, will go away.

2. Players have no pride in themselves, they're even protesting themselves & their own gear. Name on the front no longer means more than the name on the back.

3. NBA won't let the Clippers advance beyond this round no matter what. NBA was always good about putting you down threats to the "interest of the game". No way a team with a outwardly racist owner is going to go far in the playoffs.
