So, to lure a team outside of USA you would have to:
1) Fork out maybe 2 billion dollars to buy the team / franchise
2) Supply necessary training and amenity facilities for players coaches and their families, locally. Another 200-300 million per year …

I'm not advocating for the NFL to go global.

But the other three major US sports all have franchises in Canada. It doesn't seem to be an issue. Well except for the taxes. Or unless your last name is Manning and you're drafted by a foreign team.

I dont think Canada (its still North America) would be that big of a deal but going to Europe definitely could be a big deal. You're not dealing with a player, but a whole family.

Canada proved they aren't capable of having professional teams in their cities since their government is too stupid to let American players play there.

They fucked up NBA playoff games and NHL and MLB games, but luckily the NFL isn't exposed to their douchebaggery.

Put a team in Cuba before canada.
