Great Super Bowl. I thought Carolina was going to win. Tough game for Cam. Olines do matter

Put pressure on any QB and you'll see him struggle (except maybe Houdini Wilson in Seattle).

Yep. Irony is Manning got his 2nd super bowl being non-elite.

LOL. That would be a major understatement. His passer rating was in the 50's and I read somewhere that the Broncos set a Super Bowl record for most consecutive failed third down conversions.

11 first downs the whole game and 1/14 on third down conversions. Wow. Defense really does win championships.

Just found another tidbit. The Broncos are the first team to win the Super Bowl with less than 200 yards of offense. With offense being much easier nowadays than it was back in the early days of the Super Bowl, that is really saying something.

The offense was hard to watch, but the Broncos' defense is physical and fast.

Now even Vernon Davis has a Super Bowl ring.

If I was in his shoes it wouldn't mean as much to me. He went to Denver midseason and was a spectator last night and practically his whole time in Denver. He really contributed nothing to the cause.

And we had one of the worst lines in the league almost all season. Hopefully it gets fixed this coming season. I think it will be good as long as Martin, Pears, and Devey are not playing. We also have a very good oline coach.

He really didn't do much of anything after being traded, but I'm happy for him. Kind of funny that he won a Super Bowl on this field.

Happy for him too. Ironic he won a ring at Levi. He didn't contribute at all, but he was part of the team. I think it was the first time that the stadium was at full capacity. They always say "sold out" but the last few home games were an embarrassment. No one wanted to watch that crap on the field.
