A guy with 0 touchdowns in a game is the "best performance in 30-40 years"?

LMFAO.

Wentz not even in top ten for mvp, but a guy who was suspended for a macho Man elbow drop on the back of someone's head wins?

I disagree.

Seems pretty impossible after seeing the #1 ranked team for most of the season all over come a loss of their best ST player, their All Pro LT, their 2nd best defensive player (Jordan Hicks) and keep on winning. Then they lose Wentz and the team crumbles to the tune of 8 yards in a half after having the NFL record for most games in a row at over 20 points. He still leads the NFL in passing TDs. Wentz was the MVP before he got injured and now it is even more evident. 2 completions to WR's for I think 15 yards...

I would go Gurley first and Wilson 2nd. I have no idea where the Seahawks would be without Wilson. No O line, no running game and a decimated D. Wilson will probably end up with about 4600 combined yards.

I think Wilson is 2nd but if you dont make the playoffs you dont win MVP. Gurley is OPOY

Of all the key players that went down this season he was the most valuable.

There was a lot a superstars knocked out. Really disappointing for all the teams involved. I really do think he had MVP wrapped up. Obviously, I dont know for a fact but right before the Rams game (4 TD's in 3 quarters) Vegas had him ranked 1st in their odds. Freaking bummed.

Not sure if Freeman is concussed or simply trolling Eagle fans.

If its the later, I give this a big thumbs up.:thumb:

He loves his skill and love what he does, but Gurley is flashy. WTF does that mean? Meanwhile he's gonna crown Gronk cuz of a single game against Pittsburgh. A game in which Gronk was dare I say, flashy.

Mike Freeman is the black Pete Prisco. He is an idiot.

Anyone who would quote Mike Freeman to back up their argument is an idiot.

Gurley is 1st in the NFL in

Rushing yards
Rushing TDs
RB receiving yards
RB receiving TDs
Touchdowns
Yards from scrimmage

Gurley became just the third player in NFL history to have at least 2,000 scrimmage yards with 10 rushing touchdowns and more than five receiving TDs in a single season, according to a tweet from Randall Liu — the NFL’s senior director of football communications.
3rd player, but the 4th time it's happened. The other 3 times it happened, those guys played in just 14 games.

Marshall Faulk (2001): 2147 yards from scrimmage, 12 rushing TDs, 9 receiving TDs
Marshall Faulk (2000): 2189 yards from scrimmage, 18 rushing TDs, 8 receiving TDs
OJ Simpson (1975): 2243 yards from scrimmage, 16 rushing TDs, 7 receiving TDs

Also, Edgerring James in 2000 and Ahman Green in 2003 didn't have "more than" 5 receiving TDs, but they did have 5.

Every year there's at least a few players who have equally made the difference in their team's success.

...I'd probably go with Gurly too but to me it doesn't mean shit if it doesn't bring a title. Matt Ryan last year was a joke. They should wait until after the SB to vote.

I've said this before. You want to have fun with the mvp award this year then split it between Ingram and Kamara. If you don't, then give it to gurley.

There is no Gronk in the discussion and there never will be

I think they should wait till the regular season is over and then vote on all awards including pro bowl.
