-If we can't get Harbaugh, I'm hoping at this point for Miles -- and maybe we can get Muschamp or Pelini to be our defensive coordinator.
That is funny. Only people that want Miles at Michigan are LSU and Michigan fans

Probably because he doesn't have enough experinece? He really only has had one good season at Memphis, maybe they need a larger sample size.I really can not understand why nobody mentions Fuentes. I think he has a real future.

I'm not disagreeing just trying to think of reasons his name isn't brought up. Another reason I can think of is big name schools want to make a splash with a big name coach.-
that place was a dumpster fire before he got there. Unbelievable job to win 9 games in year 3. Plus he was Patterson's right hand man at TCU. Offense took a major dive after he left.
There was no fuckin' way Cutcliffe was going to Michigan.
Cutcliffe wasn't offered the job...nobody was yet, as far as we know. Michigan hired a head-hunting company in order to compile a list of candidates. This company is contacting coaches across the country to see if they would like to be included on Michigan's consideration list.
This is one of the reasons rumors are circulating about the Patriots' Bill Belichick and the Saints' Sean Payton. Names are being compiled.
So when we see a story about somebody 'turning down the job', this simply means they do not want to be considerd for the job/be placed on the consideration list of viable candidates.....it doesn't mean they were actually extended a job offer.......big difference.

All the rumors were from that one guy. Multiple people on the Michigan end of things have said that report is just not true -- I tend to believe it. For one, no one is being offered the Michigan job until Harbaugh says no. So we know the report is BS.
Gauged interest or offer, he isn't going to Michigan. Here's another one.
