Michigan-Jim Harbaugh. I know i know, he's a good NFL coach, why drop down. Harbaugh and his GM hate each other, and Harbaugh even tried to get traded to the browns. Plus he's a Michigan man, and maybe he misses having full control in college.

This second coaching hire was the time to find a diamond in the rough. That's no longer what we can afford to do. It needs to be turned around now. We need someone who can come in and win immediately - guaranteed. Anything less and our recruiting will suffer. We need someone to take advantage of the good classes Hoke pulled in before it's too late.

The two best coaches in Michigan history had no ties to the program - Yost and Bo. We need to go out and find the best damn coach that exists in the game that would come here. Don't care if they have any Michigan ties.

I think the timing will be right for Les Miles to Michigan. LSU although solid is not dealing well with not being in the NC hunt while watching ex coach Saban collect crystal trophies. UofM will pay any escape clause and the Big name will help keep the recruiting class together.

UofM is a very pissy place to work. They have factions pushing for this guy or that guy, the last group wanted Hoke and got what they wanted.....a dumpster fire. Miles still has a lot of backing in Ann Arbor. I don't think Harbaugh will bail on the West Coast or the NFL.

Actually like Mack Brown to Kansas, less stress.

Miles scares me to some extent just because he's had some pretty awful offenses at LSU. With that said, he would be a significant upgrade on Hoke; but more of a temporary solution than a long term solution.
