My guess is you just don't understand the difference between SOR and SOS. Obviously there are a thousand different SOS calcs out there but they are all within of a margin of error of each other. Thanks for play though. You really should go on back over to where you belong.

If that is the case then Liberty should be in.....which is stupid. Florida St played a pretty weak overall schedule. But in the end.....without Jordan Travis they are NOT one of the Top 4 teams. It's really that simple.

Idk, I'd argue Liberty SHOULD be in. That's more an issue of a 4 team CFP always being stupid to begin with and creating inevitable faultlines. Additionally, either commit to the bit of going off of predictive metrics for determining the "best" teams so everyone knows what's up or drop the act, jmo.

Otherwise, we're gonna have an appearance (real or perceived) of favoritism.

Don't mean to interject, but... This is sorta ridiculous.

Someone posted an SoS ranking.

He replied with the SoR ranking.

You then retorted with the SoS ranking again.

He pointed out that you just reposted what the first guy posted which isn't the same.

Which then a string of you saying, "No I didn't", and him replying, "Yes you did!".

He points out that you mislabeled your post as SoR.

You acknowledge the error (Meaning you did, in fact, post the same SoS that the previous guy did).

And then conclude with, "See? Told you I posted a different metric than SoR!" (Which was the SoS that the first guy posted, that you said you didn't repost), which was what he was telling you from the beginning.

And as is always said, these schedules are made years in advance. One would think beating Miami, LSU at a neutral site, and both Clemson and Florida on the road would be enough for ANY team in ANY year on top of winning your conference and going undefeated...

You can’t do that with the NFL. Media darlings don’t get propped up in the NFL. They have a legitimate system with tangible rules before the season even starts for inclusion in playoff competition.
