both should be good for awhile. being an independent is going to make it difficult to make it in the playoff with a loss. only way it happens is if we have big wins on the schedule. these games against temple (surprisingly good) and umass have to go.

No I think it had just as much to do with their relationship. They could have called the rivalry off and rescheduled on the spot and that didn't happen.
