this is why i think a 2 year round robin cycle with 2 yearly fixed rivals is the way to go. the division rule is the stupidest rule in the ncaa rulebook

The original post specifically states 2018.

The OSU poster, Ellupo, came in with the argument of the 2016 season.

The only year Nebraska plays Michigan from 2014 to 2019, that is six years, and it is an away game? So, the first four times Nebraska plays Michigan in the B1G, three of the games are played in Ann Arbor.

The good news, is that in 2018 Nebraska can use the excuse of playing four tough road games as to why they are playing the Bahamas Bowl.

Here is Mitch Sherman's headline on ESPN when he is talking about the schedule, even the media understands that it is a tough road schedule.

"Formidable road lineup for Huskers in 2018"

Then, over on the Ohio State Nation headline from Adam Rittenberg the same article different headline

"Big Ten releases 2018, 2019 schedules"

Why?

I see no problem with that schedule for a Bama or Oregon level team. They'd waltz right the fuck through it.

Just reminded me of a thread that OD made. you argued it doesnt belong any where near the CFB General and demanded it be moved.

HEY!!! This thread is about me whining about 2018. :yahoo:

I wonder if the Nebraska AD said, "Ok, make 2018 really bad. But, then make 2019 really easy."

The 2019 OOC is pretty easy also. Unless Colorado makes a miraculous comeback by then.

OMG. Someone started a thread about Nebraska. So move it to the Nebraska forum. It'll be a duplicate.

If I'd started the thread, you'd have a point, but I didn't, so go pound sand in your ass.

Merp, merp, merp....they had Iowa, Neb and us play the better teams from the east for 2018-19...so the years after it'll switch and we'll play the shitheads of the east and we will all be complaining...with the B1G being down, I'd rather us play the good teams and skip a few of the shitty ones.

I support this post.

Wasn't there supposed to be some kind of balanced scheduling concept where the good teams play each other in cross-division games more often? So basically you'd have Illinois and Minnesota playing a lot of games against Maryland and Indiana, and on the other hand, Nebraska and Wisconsin would get more games against Ohio State and Michigan (like 2/3 years).

It wasn't based on teams obviously, it would be based on your record over X number of years before the schedule it made or whatever, but that's basically what would happen.

Do you really want to get into a forum argument with me? I can bring some dirt in on Texas if you want, I seem to recall a few things.

Do you really want to compare your education with me? I went to a school where the average High School GPA of incoming freshman is 3.8. I went to a school where 28% of the student body graduated either first or second in their class. I went to a school that the average salary of a graduate makes far more than the average graduate of the University of Texas.

I especially love this statement from you, "you evidently got much worse an education than I did." Impressive.
