I think the ball sailed further than either he or the receiver was expecting because of the wind. They both looked like they didn't know where it was going.

Really the muffed punt only ended up costing us about 5 yards. Obviously not ideal, but DPE got a bit of a mulligan there. That was a tough situation to throw him in there, though.
