Yea his help D was solid
Like I said in the other thread
He’s a Gobert type on d
Hard to be that good. But he’s gonna be a defensive anchor with his rim protection
In the first 2 games of the season the Orioles have outscored the Angels 24-7. On another note, in his mlb debut Yamamoto with the Dodgers just struck out the side to start the game and all 3 Cardinals looked vastly overmatched.
Wild they waste time on this when Tara is a blatant sexist and muffet McGraw admitted to violating federal law
What sportsmanship? If a person has it they lose it at that school.
I didn’t read the article and I’m not going to.
But seems to me like Mulkey makes excuses for and accessorizes her players’ bad behavior.
I would never let my kids play for a coach like her.
This will be good.
Vandrerveer is a sexist?
No. That is not correct usage of the term.
Frankly, the coaching world is and has always been a patriarchy. There is absolutely no reason why so many D1 women’s coaching positions should be filled by men.
Vanderveer has made it a priority to create opportunities for young female coaches to shine in a world where, unfortunately, men 100% for sure have always had built in advantages.
She is on the record saying that she believes coaching staffs in both men’s and women’s sports would benefit from having both male and female coaches. But since women are excluded from the men’s game (which is true) she has sought to provide opportunity for women where she is able to.
That should be applauded, not criticized. Looking out for underserved populations is not sexism.

But your last sentence is false
When the applicants are 7:1 male that means they’re over represented
But that wasn’t what I was referring to anyway
I will play
When in is it...in your eyes a woman or person of color has rightly earned their position?
I will occasionally wince at poor hiring practices that are clearly based on DEI. Our VP being one. The Pistons coaching search being another.
All Vandeveer is doing is exactly what goes on without saying it with regards to white male candidates.
Sometimes the pendulum has to swing too far to get the change that is required.
Had we kept the same mindset regarding black qbs where would we be
