I swear this team has had the best luck of any team i have ever seen the last 3 post seasons.

Cavs aren't far behind in luck.

Pacers team that wasn't quite ready, Raptors team that pees their pants at the mention of Lebron's name and a Celtics team missing it's 2 best players.

Safe to say that neither team makes it without some luck.

The Warriors are #1 in defensive rating for the playoffs and just held one of the most prolific offenses in the league to under 100 points for 5 straight games.

Not sure how "uncuffed" that will make the Cavs feel.

The Warriors are a great defensive team. As are the Raptors. But they are a much different kind of defense than the Celtics and the Pacers.

They are not a smothering athletic switching defense with a rim protector like the Celts/Pacers. They are a disciplined defense with a couple of elite defenders. They don't have to spend much time in transition defense or navigating cross matchups because their offense is so damn efficient that they almost always are setting up halfcourt D after a made shot.

They are also MUCH more prone to laziness and giving up on plays defensively than the Celtics/Pacers because they can afford to.

Agree with all of this.

However, the bold is the problem for the Cavs, imo. In order to have any chance at all...the Cavs are going to have to play great defense for 48 minutes of every game (fortunately for them, they are currently tied with the Warriors for #1 in defensive rating for the playoffs) and the Warriors don't.

I just don't see how the Cavs can maintain that effort enough to get them 4 wins.
