murray has shown that 6 months of so of consecutive super high level play on par with nole is about the best he can do, so i'd be surprised to not see nole get back to #1 and win 3 majors this year.

but the dream 2017 for me would be seeing a youngster or two break through and show they're ready to take over the mantle from the current golden age of top players we've had for the past decade. nole and murray are about to hit 30, and i really feel like its time.

Stan is also around 30. Not to mention Rafa is breaking down and Roger is a shell of himself. Mens tennis could be in a funk in another year or 2. The womens game continues to be a hot sloppy mess. I heard some tournaments are even closing up shop on them. The last 20 years or so has been fun anyway.
