Wow, I've noticed watching the games that Seager has struggled with men on, but I only catch probably about 50% or so of the innings that the Mariners play so I assumed that perhaps he was better when I wasn't watching. His stats with RISP and men on are putrid, you are quite right. Hell, putrid is an understatement:

2015 RISP: .170/.277/.310
2015 Men on: .222/.303/.380

Last year he was quite good with RISP and men on,

2014 RISP: .301/.356/.479
2014 Men on: .303/.354/.525

He actually hit a lot better with RISP and men on than he did with nobody on. I have to assume he improves next year.

Yea didn't know the exact numbers but knew it was pretty poor. It's gone under the radar because of guys like Zunino, Trumbo, Ackley, Cano in first half etc.

I'd compare it to Felixs year. Not horrible but below expectations. Needs to do more for this team to succeed.

I remember at the beginning of the season mentioning that Seager was a solid player for us but felt he was a bit overrated by quite a few Mariner fans... I got chastised for making those comments... He is the 4th highest paid 3B in MLB... M's fans talked like he was a top three 3B in MLB, especially listening to Brock & Salk before the season started... He's no where near a top 3B in MLB...

I get your view and I for one never argued your point though I thought you were a bit hard on him. Not saying you were wrong, but one thing to consider is that since the start of 2014 til today he is 3rd for 3B's in WAR at 8.0 (Donaldson 12.6 and Frazier 8.4).
