Disappointing that the M's have a chance to get over .500 for the first time this year and they only manage to get 1 run off a guy with an ERA over 7. To be fair though, the M's have hit several balls really hard just right at people. Also disappointing that the difference right now is an error on a ground ball that I could have fielded. Oh well, here's hoping the M's can get a couple off the Twins bullpen again.

More luck as the ball hits the umps foot and bounces away. I know that wasn't his fault, but fuck you anyway Runge for having a shitty strike zone tonight.

Sad that they don't have anyone who can pinch hit for Powell in the 9th. I guess Cruz must be worse off than we thought.

It does still feel like they are playing a bit over their heads right now. They still commit some of the worst boneheaded plays routinely. They got away with another one last night I think from Motter? that lead to a run that shouldn't have happened.
Another example last night with robbie committing two errors on the same play.

When the bats are alive you can cover up for the bad fielding and boneheaded base running mistakes, but last night was an example that they will still cost you games here and there over the long run.

Hard to bag on them for the loss when they were 9 of their prior 10 and still hitting a lot of solid contact balls last night, just bad luck.

Now it's on to the road games at home. :tsk:
