Zunino is one of the last people I'd blame for last night's loss.

I saw at least 2 pitches last night that would've been passed balls and scored runs/advanced runners for anything but an excellent catcher. Gallardo's location was good as far as being mostly down, but it was feet off the plate at times.

The 3 guys getting paid $50 million this year who aren't doing jack shit behind the plate (and in Seager's case, on the field) are the ones I'm looking at.

Moving ahead, I think I'm probably going to just change the channel when Felix pitches to Trout tonight.

I would agree he did well last night, but I see him differently on defense. on most nights. He misses a lot of balls in the dirt on most nights.

1 true. I noticed in spring training that a lot of players were looking bored especially on defense with Seager being one of them. I shrugged it off to just being the end of spring training but it seems to have carried over.

Doesn't Seager actually start playing in May? Not sure if true but it seems he always blows in April

The Angels hitting an abysmal .186 with RISP so far....

....which is TWICE as good as the M's.

M's with a .093 average with RISP

Not a typo.

I'm pretty sure that's going to change rapidly....

KNino with a great K with 1 out and man on third. Not one pitch came within 3 feet of home plate.

That Zunino AB in the 7th. He seriously struck out on a 90 mph fastball in the middle of the plate. Not sure i can handle a full season of his ABs

Bump

Why the hell you throw Trout a fastball anywhere close to a strike is beyond me

Not only that it was the same pitch Trout fouled off earlier in the AB. Trout was even smiling because he knew he missed it.
