Tigers lead the M's by .5 games for wild card #2. Whoever wins 2 games this weekend will be the leader on Monday.

Mariners have gone 10-3 since the trade deadline day.

I imagine he'll be good to go for tomorrow's game unless it swells up overnight. I'm surprised more guys don't end up with a long-lasting limp when they foul one of their foot/ankle.

Nice win for the Mariners today. Hope to see them continue with the run support for Felix tomorrow.

Price is gonna be tough but we knew that coming in. I was worried the most about today's game coming into this series if we wanted to win 2/3. I know Felix is God like but we have to score on Price too. Now we can still take 2/3 even if Price dominates and we lose.

My key tomorrow is making him work early and getting into the bullpen which has been atrocious.

Well we gave a couple outs away too. Yes we have a great defense, but let's not get carried away too much. Price dominated us last time he pitched. He's a top 5 pitcher in the Majors. Every run scored and run prevented could be huge in this 1 game.

I fully expect Felix to be absolutely dominant, but the offense could make his life easier by scraping out a run before he takes the hill. I think Felix needs to watch out for the first inning acclimation period he can have.

I have to work tomorrow but I should be able to catch the first couple innings. Should be a great game.

Looked like Paxton didnt even have close to his best stuff and he held a good hitting team to 1 run over 6 innings. His fastball location was decent but didnt look like he had a good feel for his curve or changeup. The good news is whenever he missed it was down. Things should only get better for him.

Man if Hultzen pitched like he should have, and Walker was pitching like he should, we could have the best rotation for years.

Maybe I'm exaggerating but to me this is the biggest start in Hernandez' career so far. Kind of funny how a lot of people were worried about the loss in velocity of his fastball. Goes to show you that you don't need the 95+ MPH fastball if you know how to pitch. He's probably at about 92-93 MPH average on it but his K/9 is the best of his career.
