I'm hesitant to trade Iwakuma. Iwakuma is not flashy, so it is easy to forget that from 2012 through 2014, he had the 4th lowest ERA in the AL at 3.07. The only three pitchers with a lower ERA over that span were Felix, Chris Sale and David Price.
This sounds like the perfect time to trade him before everyone knows he's washed up.

The Mariners broadcasters can't criticize the Mariners because they're employed by the franchise, lol. That's basically like going on air saying your bosses don't know what the hell they're doing.

I thought that was already a given. Surprised you had to clarify that

I think he could return and pitch well. The fact that he was garbage this year in his limited starts, it deflates his value.

That and I think most GM's around the league see the writing on the wall with him. Which is why I would trade him to anyone interested. Cubs are looking for SP and they have some solid looking players in the minors. That is where I would shop him.

If he does return and pitch well that is when you trade him cause it won't last.

Another inning where the Mariners had a runner on 2nd with nobody out, another inning that we don't score any runs. Christ.

Wait, was that a defensive play by the M's? Did I see that right? :noidea:

The fortunate over throw from Trumbo after his awful attempt on the fly ball?

These guys are afraid to score.
They want that club record.

They had to average 3 runs a game over the rest of the month before yesterdays game to avoid June 2015 being officially the worst offensive production month in the entire history of this team.

Shut out today puts that in real contention.

And fortunate Miller didn't sail it into the 3rd row of seats like he usually does. That's the shock here.

3 straight ground balls to second base from Cano. Last time with bases loaded. Ugh

Did anyone else see that? Ball went right over Pujols head, and nailed Cano while he was in the dugout, right on the forehead. Looks like he left the game.

The good person in me wants to wish him well,

But another part of me sees his $24m paycheck, and wants to laugh for not paying attention.

Cano not paying attention again? Shocking
