Ackley goes 3 for 4 and you don't play him for the 2nd time... Why Trumbo against a RHP?

My favorite stat for setting a lineup is the one that comes from the game before. Play the hot hitter until he cools off. Pretty simple...except for Lloyd I guess.

If not for the fact that Cabrera had that ridiculous run from 2012 to 2013, Trout would have 3 straight MVPs. There is actually a compelling argument that he should've won the MVP both of those years. The fact that he's only 23 and is this good is just incredible.

Really envious that the Angels have a star of his caliber. This is obviously really premature to say about a player of his age, but he looks like he could end up being one of the greatest of all time.

Shoemaker had an ERA of 5.2 coming in and 5.8 against non Mariner teams. I'm sure we can knock the overall number below 5

Kind of a bs interference call on zunino there, the batter has one place to go and that's run a line from home to 1st, he had nowhere to go. I don't really agree with that call.

If anything the catcher got into his way when he was on his way to 1st and that would be interference on the catcher.

Bunting Zunino with an 0-1 count. It's like baseball for idiots every night.

Wow. That call was complete and utter bullshit. The replay clearly showed Jackson's heel on the bag before the ball went into Pujols' glove.

It was funny because Blowers said himself that even the fans in the stadium knew he was safe. Terrible call.

They said the same thing about Griffey when he was 23 - and then 2001 happened (though if I was Trout, having a career like Griffey's would be pretty good too).
