Good to see Rodney on a happy note, strong start from Walker, and a win to open the road trip.

Wish we got more games on Fox. It's nice hearing the broadcasters actually have a discussion on the Mariners troubles and how confounding it is. It's a great contrast from the typical Mariner broadcaster discussion that goes something like: Player X is showing signs of breakthrough and improvement during Y timespan.

Probably has something to do with Iwakuma. If I had to guess, Kuma will take Elias's spot. Montgomery has been too good to replace.

The Mariners have a lot of quality starting pitchers right now. Would be nice if we could flip one for a competent hitter.

Curve in the dirt swing and a miss, curve in the dirt swing and a miss, fastball right down the middle taken for strike 3. Mariners offense at their best.

My vote is to trade Kuma as soon as anyone shows interest. I would be surprised if Kuma ever pitches well again.

Surprising a leadoff double by cruise and we don't score

I'm hesitant to trade Iwakuma. Iwakuma is not flashy, so it is easy to forget that from 2012 through 2014, he had the 4th lowest ERA in the AL at 3.07. The only three pitchers with a lower ERA over that span were Felix, Chris Sale and David Price.

The Mariners broadcasters can't criticize the Mariners because they're employed by the franchise, lol. That's basically like going on air saying your bosses don't know what the hell they're doing.

Perfect example of Lloyd not knowing what the fuck he's doing.

Seager is a solid hitter, but why not have him bunt? You've got nobody out, move the fucking runner over then let Trumbo swing the bat.

Wow, great play by the Mariners there. Loved how the broadcaster was saying that Freese was going to be going into 3rd uncontested and he got thrown out.
