All I have to say is I sure hope our offense shows up tonight against Heaney.
Oops- 2 things I have to say- the 2nd thing is "thank you" NWinAZ for posting the line ups in the games-much appreciated buddy
Gawd Nick- you walk the first batter you face? Too bad Scott doesn't use you enough to get you back on track.....oh yeah, I forgot Scotty has been stuck in his "routine" with Nicasio
Pretty sad when it takes into the 8th inning before they get a runner to 2nd base...thanks to a double by the Z man. Gamel hits a grounder to get Z to third nad Heredia gets a single to bring in Z and it ties up this game. WOW
M's had a chance with 1 out and a couple runners on base and can't get anymore plated. Could have had the lead.....That has got to be the story for this team.
M's should have won this one. Failed to come up with the clutch hit and they let the worst hitter on the Angels beat them. Awful loss for most teams, typical for the Mariners.
What a pitiful showing last night. The M's are, have been, and probably will continue to be snake bit when it comes RISP getting plated. Yeah, Dee blew it last night but it was super close. Nicasio goes from one extreme to the other and gives up the bomb for a walk off. What's up with Servais and Nacasio anyway? And why does Servais pull the starter with only 84 pitches but still hanging in there? This team might have had a chance if they didn't have a rookie manager who doesn't seem to learn from his mistakes and has a boss who is so caught up in their bromance that he can't (or refuses) to even see his manager's inept handing of the pitching staff. Don't be surprised when we hit 3rd place or maybe even 4th place in our division during the month of August. We know Oakland is killing it and the Angels are due for a hot streak with all their guys back on board.
