I have never made it through scarface.
Am I giving away my ethnicity there??
Movies like Scarface and Bladerunner seem to get the same reaction when the topic of them gets broached with people who hadn't seen them until the last 10 years.. atleast from what I've noticed. I saw them either at the time of their release or within a few years (in the 80s) as a young'un and thought pretty highly of them. Those who are a little younger than me who had heard how good they were will tell me they just couldn't get into them or didn't see what the big fuss was about.
Movies I need to see.. Lord of the Rings. All of them. Haven't seen one yet.

The Big Lebowski
Pulp Fiction
99% of what's been released in the last 5 yrs. I think I'm averaging one movie at the theater a year. I hate Hollywood.

I'm not typically into that sort of thing, but these movies are certainly impressive. Start with The Hobbit in 3D and go from there.
