Man, Spurs fans are weird. They dont realize they are the favorites. 'They're old' is code for 'Tim Duncan might wear down at some point and then they'll only be just as good as everyone else. Maybe.'

Yeah I think everybody respects trusts and expects great things from the Spurs. They are the benchmark franchise of the last decade or so.

Father time will catch up to them eventually although even if it does, they'll still be a top 5 team out West. If it doesn't, they are a strong favorite. They dominated good teams late last year.

Yeah I think everybody respects trusts and expects great things from the Spurs. They are the benchmark franchise of the last decade or so.

Damn boring to watch at times, but one of the best run organizations for 20 years now.

I already beat them to win the east at insanely good prop bet odds.


Nobody and I mean nobody ever talks about them.....

And it has been forever. They consistently under perform. I expect nothing more from them this year. As usual, a mid to low playoff seed going out in the first round.

The only way they would be under rated is if they make the ECF, but I think the Bulls and Cavs will be too much for them to do that.

The Mavs will be the surprise of the west, now that they beefed up their D.

Thee Hornets will be the surprise of the east, albeit because they will win alot of games for a second year in a row. Look for Vonleh to be a real asset by the second half. They stole him.

Vonleh "isn't even close" to being ready to play according to their head coach.

A good bet, imo. I think they are probably a top 4 team out East. Poor man's Spurs.

The Hawks aren't really underrated. I think most NBA fans know they have a solid team, but their problem is they always seem to do the same thing year in year out. They can never take that next step... never have been able to. This could be the year... who knows. I love that frontcourt and Teague IS underrated. Korver, Carroll, and Sefalosha are all solid role players as well.

Good looking team, but don't think they go past round 2... just like every other year seemingly.

The Mavs are poised for a great season.

They made some good moves. Parsons is a stud and Chandler+Nelson+Felton will give them some much needed depth. I used to not be a big fan of Monta Ellis and always thought he was overrated when he played for Golden State, but he's proven that he is legit on any team. Great scoring ability.

They may have been a 3 seed, but it was with a barely over .500 record in a weak East. The conference looks better on paper and the Hawks still need to show they can put it together for once.
