Fife is the worst pitcher in Dodgers history, so no he's not better than Maholm

Worst in Dodger history? You must not know much Dodger history, we've had a ton of piss poor pitchers! As far as Fife, he gave the Dodgers a few nice starts last year when he had to fill in, the only reason I can think of for having Maholm on the Roster is because he has Major League experience. He is not very good, and he is proving that!

It should all be irrelevant once Ryu is back, then we will have our 5 best staters starting again

I've never seen such high expectations for throw in 5th starters.

I don't think it's much to ask your 5th starter to be a little better than 1-4 with a ERA over 5.00!

Now if he was 1-4 with a 3.50 ERA that would be keeping us in the game and his record could be blamed on a lack of offense!offense

I'm more upset when the highest paid pitcher in MLB history takes a dump in the second inning against a garbage team. 5th starters that are shitty is the least of my worries.

Two tears in a bucket. Most of us know how to take the bad with the good, when it comes to the best pitcher in the game. Again, name a team, player, coach, or front office that wouldn't want the problem of Kershaw having this bad start. Because other than today, he has a 1.74 ERA. Not worried about it. Keep crying though:bawling:

Tell me when I can worry. Otherwise, I will maintain the party line. Every thing us just fine, long season. We will play better.

My concern, as limited as it is, is with the BP. The Dodgers may want to consider making a couple of changes. Also, Maholm has to go.

Lasportzphan, if you truly worry about baseball, then I'd say you are blessed with having few real problems in your life. It's a game, man. If it causes you to worry, you'd be far better off finding something else to do with life.

I'll let you know when you can worry. At least the outfielders are having a new beginning in May, all 4 are batting .320+ this month. Puig's leading the league in homers and RBI's this month. The Dodgers will get better. Ryu will be back on wednesday and will give the entire pitching staff a boost.

And same goes for you in taking literal meaning in everything. And here you are on a post board spending time reading comments. Careful in that glasshouse, but nice attempt at being clever.

I assure you my baseball worry pales in comparison to my worry for your douchebaggery.

I checked out the batting stats, and you're right, lots of positives. It just needs to come together I suppose. I thought it was against Miami.

Agreed with most of what is being said. Big worry is the bullpen. Still worried about the lack of focus on defense. Starters are fine, especially when Ryu comes back and replaces Maholm. League looks night and day from last year. Make him the closer and bring in Jansen and Wilson for junk innings until they can figure it out. Offense is certainly making strides.

lasportzfan, worry if we don't make the playoffs. Other than that, enjoy Dodger baseball.:suds:
