Fed has taken a wild card so things are definitely stirred up for me.
So let me get this straight. Fed hasn't played this event since 2011, so if he goes far he takes home all the points. Wonder if that can propel him back to #3.
So why can't Fed earn points from rounds earlier than the QF ? I know he gets a bye in the first round and then he plays two rounds to get to the QF RIGHT? So he should just be able to add points from his second round match because he hasn't played the event last year since he is not defending any points.
That is always good news. The bug is out.dolgopolov took out crazy gulbis in straight sets
Fed got a good draw, I think. He's in Nole's half, and doesn't seem to have a lot that could bother him through the SF.
In Nadal's half, the only players I could see troubling him would be Wawrinka or Raonic...or maybe Dimitrov could give him a decent match if he could find a way through Ferrer.
Should be a fun tournament.
Think they are six hours ahead. so our 3am (EST) is like 9am for them. Not sure if they have both day and night sessions.I will miss most of this tourney except for the weekend matches due to work.
How early does the matches start? Maybe I can watch a half hour or so in the am as I get ready for work
According to my tv guide the day session actually starts at 430
