How's their bullpen though (obviously closer should be alright now, but the rest)? What do they need in terms of bats? Their hitting stats were average at best last season, and if that doesn't change they're still in tough for a playoff spot.

With Robertson I think it's decent at worst. Petricka(sp?) will be good/very good as a setup man. Zach Putnam looked good when I saw him. No sure if Nate Jones will be back, he was real good a couple years ago. As a Tigers fan, it's hard to look down on any bullpen.

If Adam Eaton and Avisail Garcia stat healthy I think the lineup does fine with LaRoche, Abreu and Ramirez.

I don't want to get stuck going against Sale, JS and Quintanna in three games series. I'll take my chances with Danks.

Bye bye Montero.

Glad we cleared his entire contract off the books. Now finding a replacement should be fun...

We'll trade you Evan Gattis for Goldy. We'll even throw in BJ Upton to sweeten the pot a bit.

Jays have Navarro

We need some bullpen arms

Yeah, I could definitely see them being trade partners with them. Or the Reds since they have a catcher to spare as well.

Ziegler or Reed possibly? :noidea:

We also have a very nasty trio of relievers in our farm system that are all MLB ready, but I doubt we deal any of them for Navarro.

LA sends Gordon and Heran to Miami for Heaney and 3 other minor leaguers.

Damn it. Great trade for the doggies.

Yea, I don't understand what the Marlins are doing here...

Gordon doesn't walk and doesn't have any power.....unless he's hitting .290+ every year (which is no sure thing), he's not going to provide much value....seems exactly like Juan Pierre, who was basically worthless in seasons he couldn't hit .300+

And given how Haren's pitched the last 3 years, I'm not sure why they'd want him at his $10M price tag.

Did FLA win a WS with Pierre? They just want a base threat, Stanton is suppose to be the power. Gordon will be just as productive at his position as pierre ever was at his.

Now Haren makes zero sense unless its just to have a veteran presence like Shields was for KC the last few years.

Wow. Can't believe we got two young arms for Miley. I've always liked De La Rosa. I know Webster has been a bust up to this point, but he was once highly regarded for a reason. Hope he turns things around in AZ.

Haren was a salary dump, he said he would retire if the Dodgers trade him. No one pays a thing.

Gordon led the league in triples and stolen bases, and his speed isn't going away any time soon. Juan Uribe is still great with the glove, even when he flat out stinks with the bat.

Glad the Dodgers traded Heaney. That rotation is already loaded enough.

They should have enough salary to add another starting pitcher, especially if they trade Kemp. Maybe Hamels, maybe Shields? It's a possibility.
