Dude is a proven winner at every level. He was 8-4 in his third year at Stanford and they extended him three years after that season which paid major dividends. He's competitive and wants to win and although he hasn't won this division yet lets keep in mind this is the best division in all football. I would give him a chance for sure even though he's kind of a D bag sometimes but he has the track record.

I wouldn't be laughing my balls off if they said they were sticking with him. I'm laughing my balls off at a potential mega-extension for a guy who hasn't won shit.

LOL!!!

Franklin was just starting year 3 with an upper class full of walkon's due to the massive scholarship reductions.
Penn St had also lost to (8-5) Pitt just 2 weeks prior.
And also beat OSU.....and won the B10. So how is beating them not an accomplishment?

HOLD MY BEER
- Kirk Ferentz.

Being that Ferentz is on contract until 2026, I was going to say it's Michigan saying "Hold My Beer".

1-4 = "competitive"

HAHAHAHAHA
You can laugh all you'd like, but there's more to a game than win/loss. Like I already said, Harbaugh is a fluke play and a judgement call away from being 3-2 against MSU/OSU.

This will go down as the greatest move in Michigan history. They will build statues of Jim and name streets after him even while he's still coaching. Eventually he will own Myer then Myer will bail again as he always does like a baby back bitch. buahahhaahha

Hey, hey! @MAIZEandBLUE09, you've got the full support of this talking meatball! Oh, shit. lolz.

Now all you need is @dougplayer's blessing.

HAahahahaha.

Not until game 7.

Heck, Penn St barely beat Temple in Happy Valley (34-27) a week prior to losing in Ann Arbor.

Penn St was a much better team later in the season than in the beginning. Just as they are now, as Harbaugh found out.

Anything to stop this stupid shit:

DPIRQiDUMAU1S_u.jpg
Does it really stop this shit though? He can still choose to leave at anytime, just like any other contract, and whoever is going to be hiring him would be the one footing the bill for most of it. All it does it makes it much more costly for the university to part ways with him if he does not preform at the levels that the university and fans deem acceptable.

It's not a moral victory, but as long as we're competitive we're going to win our share of games against those two. It's just a matter of time.

Sure, either party could choose to break the contract but if such a thing exists -- I'm betting it's going to be crazy expensive to do so either way.
