4 - 6 weeks with a broken finger.

With all the folks that think Martin is expendable (mainly due to the cap hit) well I hope this shows why you need 7 NHL defensemen.

Eesh yea I heard that today.

I can't believe the bad luck on this team over the last year.

That fucking stinks. I like Michalek too.

Guess it is gonna be one of those years. Feel free to forfeit the remainder of your schedule. :D

I don't think Martin is expendable because of his cap number. I think Martin is expendable in the coming future because Despres and Morrow will force the hand of Shero at some point in time,.. . and that is in no way shape, or form a knock on Paulie. He's an excellent asset on the blue-line. But who else would they ship out? Orpik? Uh, no. Letang? Haha, no. Z? too valuable of a lock-down type. The reverend and Engo are on the cheap, and Nisky isn't really that expensive, either. However, I could see a sell high on Niskanen, and that could potentially open the door for either Simon or Joe, as well.

Oh yeah, Penguins lead the league, once again in man games lost due to injury. Broken Fuckin' record:faint:

It seems like we can count on having one regular d-man injured for the rest of our lives. Perhaps EIGHT NHL-capable defensemen is not a bad idea either....

It would be great to get through a couple weeks at least with a completely healthy lineup, but that doesn't seem to be a possibility in the near term.

Could be worse. Could be the Flyers, they lose one D-man and now they can't stop anyone from getting to the net. At least we have some depth. Injuries are getting old.

I know it is a bad excuse, but we really have had 90% of our goals against take the worst deflections in the loss streak. It is amazing how much the puck bounces.

At least we are starting to score.
