Maybe I'm too observant but Waiters just doesn't seem like a team guy. This is the 2nd time in the last 2+ weeks where the team is winning a game in the 4th and while the the rest of the guys on the bench are involved and having fun, he is just sitting there isolated like someone stole his lunch.
Several things on this matter:
Lets first remember there are a lot of different personalities on a team. Secondly, I have never been a fan of making TOO MUCH out of this no matter who the player is. Just because a guy decides not be a rah-rah like every one else doesnt make him any less of a team guy.The thing with Waiters is he is a hot-head and that can cause him to look very bad when he is having a bad night when maybe the rest of his teammates are not.
I remember a similar situation with Justise Winslow when he was sent back to the bench after a couple starts.
And, I know Hassan is everyones guy - but he has done it a time or two as well.
Its great to see guys show collective emotion that signals to the team unity - but I tend to prefer the guys like Waiters and others who are even keel no matter what. The guys who stay true to what their personality truly is - not to what looks good to people in the stands and on TV thats just fake.
