"Miami had more to do with the NE not going to the SB than Denver."

They lost 4 games for cryin out loud. Why the Miami game should be considered more significant than the other 3.... especially the other one they lost to the Broncos, is beyond me. What foolishness.

Timing......Losing to a bad team going through the motions at the end of the season, when you can wrap up Home Field, is a little more glaring than the other 3 losses IMO

They went 5-3 on the road. 3 of those wins were by a score or less including one on a last second 54 yard FG against the Giants. It's the NFL. Teams lose to lesser teams on the road all the time. Let's not pretend it was some sort of shocker.

Outside of playoff games, anyone know the distribution of where Manning/Brady games have been played?

Seem to remember Manning always seeming to have to play on Brady's home field more than the reverse.

Outside of the playoffs there have been 8 games in Foxboro and 4 games in Indy/Denver. Playoffs there have been 3 games in Indy/Denver and 2 in Gillette. Home team has won every game in the playoffs.

Also it doesn't help that the early part of the rivalry heavily favored Brady. He started out 6-0 against Manning. Since then Manning has won 6 games to Brady winning 5.
