Dolphins waive WR Damian Williams as they activate Dion Jordan.
If this really is a different Miami team than the ones we've seen coached by Philbin the past couple of years, then a win at Jacksonville will happen. The Jags are a bad team and I expect a 27-13 type of win by the Phins. No more letdowns, no more losing to bad teams.
I feel pretty good though, as I think the offense is starting to really grasp the new offense (especially Tanny) and will continue to improve as the season goes on. The defense is good. Jordan is back and maybe we can see some things on the field to remind us why he was drafted so high.
Do you think Miami will exercise the option on Tannehill? I don't know....15 million is a lot of coin for a guy that has been consistently inconsistent throughout his entire career. How he performs the rest of this year will no doubt determine whether he stays in S. Florida or not.
I can agree with a lot of what you're saying. But the problem lies in the fact that Miami only has a few 'bad teams' left on their schedule. Minnesota & the Jets....every other team is pretty good(including Buffalo btw-we haven't beaten them in almost 2 full seasons-just sayin....). Soooooo, this team has to prove they can beat quality opponents. Detroit, San Diego, Baltimore, Denver, even the Jets in NY. IF this team can play up to their potential, there is no reason why Miami cannot contend for the division title. If Philbins 'shoddy coaching' rears its ugly head as we play some of the tough games, we will be staring down the barrel of yet another 8-8 (or 6-10) season. No longer is this about 'lack of talent' or 'quality players'. A solid head coach should have this team in the thick of a division crown. We're about to see what Philbin is truly made of.....
The inconsistencies for the Fins continue... That said, people need to realize this isnt on Tannehill or Philbin, Lazor is the one making the calls and they have been questionable and inconsistent to this point in the season.
Louis Delmas returns it for 81 yards on the INT. A great pickup in the offseason for us .
Denard Robinson doing what he wants to us - He is the Jags offense and we are doing nothing about it
