UVA purposely plays a style to muck up the game (swarming D, drag it out offense). VT can't play good basketball to save its life. There's a 100% guarantee this game will make your eyes bleed if you like good, free flowing basketball. I think I might blindfold myself while rooting for the miracle upset

Yeah, went as bad as I thought it would. Actually, maybe worse. I don't think they had any gameplan at all because they played exactly to UVA's strengths. Instead of pushing the pace (like JJ always claims he wants to do), we gave them plenty of time to set their solid defense. UVA loves trapping pick and rolls, yet we continuously dribbled into the trap, never once trying to let the screen setter slip the screen in anticipation of the trap. Defense was a mess as well. We run the worst 2-3 zone ever. Twice I noted all 5 players were on one side of the court ball watching. So much for staying in your zone. JJ's sub patterns make little sense too. Even with Smith out, Johnston should not be playing that much (he practically played the entire game). Yep, pretty ugly. Only thing worse were the atrocious announcers who routinely kept calling UVA "the Hokies".

Woody Durham is a fucking retard. How he was able to leave the UNC job for a job with the ACC is beyond me.
