I think you are right, but he was also vastly overrated for a decent portion of his career. That fan perception will likely carry him in to the HOF, even though most view him for what he really is now.

i hate to say it, but...if the price is right...for this young team? id take him on for the right price. hed have to accept a role...

and i loathe melo...it hurt to say that.

The playoff criticism isn't totally fair, but it kind of is at the same time.

Is Carmelo a better winner than say, Kevin Love or Kyrie Irving? I don't think so, they just happen to play on a better team because they are not "the guy" on theirs.

Now, Melo has had plenty of opportunities to leave NY for better situations and has not. He also hurt the Knicks' roster strength when they gave up so many assets to acquire him when they did. That is on Melo. He has chosen $ over winning every step of the way.
