Hate that Stanton going down changed the matchup, but it definitely did. Was pretty happy Salazar got yanked before he could implode. I was definitely hoping he'd implode enough to lose the game.

trying to decide if I am better off starting 3 closers like you(we would both have 8 starts and 3 closers), or take the slight advantage 9 starts vs 8 starts but take the slight disadvantage in closers...

I had the debate between Hughes and Quintana the other when they faced off. Couldnt start both. Opted for Hughes,...... Quintana went nuts and racked up a career high in Ks.

Prospect League Playoffs

Both games in this one were outstanding. Although an 8-2 final margin makes it seem like Smitty cruised to an easy victory, the reality is that his team pulled away over the weekend. Hot hitting from Smitty along with a couple poor pitching performances from OBX's boys were the difference in this one. Smitty will advance to take on his nemesis Micro in the game that could end up determining the second bid to the A league. This one will be very interesting.

On the other side of the bracket, Milk tied JD, but will advance on the strength of his regular season record. Milk moves on to face Driaz, who was nearly unbeatable down the stretch. This should be a tight battle as the two teams appear to be very evenly matched. Anything can happen in this one.

Well apparently that decision backfired on me... If I lose Doolittle's 5 runs in 1/3 inning will be a huge factor, especially in a pitching race that has been so close until then...

That was a tough call to make and I probably would of played it the same way. It just (so far) hasn't worked out well for you. That's what's so fun and also frustrating about fantasy sports. You can make all the right moves and they can backfire on you!

Still plenty of time left and the matchup is much closer than the score is showing right now.

Micros dominating in runs and OBP. And has a nice 4-0 lead in the homer department. Close battle in RBI, Ks, WHIP, ERA and saves. I've lost starts from Shoemaker, Stroman and Lackey. And lost my man Martin Prado for the season. It's going to be an uphill battle this weekend.
