That is all I usually look at too. You would think the "live scoring" would be right. Oh well.

That is odd. One of the few glitches with Fantrax. I've really enjoyed the site for baseball.

I hate losing to you with a passion hevo. But you're a good friend. Made my day man. Thanks again!

Haha, ours is definitely a "rivalry". But once I heard how much you loved 'ol Jack, that opportunity wouldn't come up often. Just make sure it gets a great case. ;)

Brock,

It is just the live scoring that is incorrect. It does not factor in the innings minimum. If you click on standings page, they have a scoring period recap below. You will see that the correct score is listed there and it is the correct score that is reflected in the league standings.

It is confusing though.

OK, I see what you mean. All is good.

Alex Cobb as sucked ass so much that I finally bench him and he K's 10 Cardinals' Note to self, activate any pitcher going against the Cardinals. They can't score and strike out a lot, coming from a Cardinal fan.

Prospect League Week 17 Review

Standings-

1. Micro: 93-67-10
2. Driaz: 88-66-16
2. Milk: 91-69-10
4. JD: 88-75-7
5. Smitty: 86-76-8
6. OBX: 82-75-13
7. Molsan: 77-76-17
8. Redseat: 74-86-10
9. Brock: 72-89-9
9. Trudem: 71-88-11
11. AZ Sting: 71-90-9
12. Foot: 59-95-16

Weekly Recap

OBX 8.5, AZ Sting 1.5- AZ got stung by an outstanding week from OBX, who managed to take every category but SBs and wins. OBX moves into 6th place with a nice 3 game cushion over 7th place Molsan.

Milk 7, Brock 3- What in the world got into Milk's hitters this week? Usually when the pitching staff struggles, it is bad news, but this week he managed a rare hitting sweep. Milk moves up into a tie for 2nd, while Brock falls back to a tie for 9th.

Trudem 6.5, Foot 3.5- Foot is too busy asking questions about tight ends (yes, we are talking about football) to set his line-up. Trudem took full advantage with a great pitching week and moves up into a tie for 9th.

Driaz 6, Molsan 4- This one was very close across the boards. The bats for Driaz were scorching hot, but Molsan managed to wrest away 3 pitching cats by virtue of heavy volume. Driaz is now in a tie for 2nd, but he and Milk are just 2 games back. The loss sets Molsan back to 7th, just 3 games out of the final playoff spot.

Redseat 5.5, Smitty 4.5- The pitching in this one was absolutely ridiculous. Redseat had an ERA of 1.83 and a WHIP of .92, yet managed just half a point in the 5 pitching cats. Lucky for him, he was able to sweep the hitting side. Redseat is trying to get back in contention as Smitty remains comfortably in 5th.

Micro 5.5, JD 4.5- This game was just what one would expect from these two squads. JD's hitting was dominant, but Micro managed to earn half a point with a tie in SBs. On the other side, Micro completed the pitching sweep with his filthy collection of arms. These two teams look destined for the playoffs as they sit in 1st and 4th respectively.

Good luck to all in week 18!

Thought it would be interesting to compare my drafted team to what it is now. I made plenty of FA pickups and only one trade.

Whelp, I knew my team wouldn't completely stay the same. My WW additions have definitely helped my hitting along with obtaining Puig. Pitching may be a bit different each week as I drop struggling pitchers and add different ones. But my core stays the same.

4th OF being your weakness is s good weakness to have...although I think BJ's "value" took a hit with Bonifacio's arrival.

Prospect League Review-

Race for First-

This one is huge, since the first place team gets an automatic bid to the A league. Technically, the top 6 teams are still within reach of the top spot, but the top 4 teams are most likely to overtake first place Micro. Micro has opened up a 5 game lead over second place Driaz, but Smitty and Milk are tied for third place just 7 games back.

Smitty has a chance to gain ground with a matchup against last place Foot. Milk faces the always difficult OBX. Micro plays Brock and Driaz locks horns with a struggling Redseat. Milk clearly has the toughest matchup of the 4, but one of the lower seeds could well emerge as a spoiler. This is still anybody's race.

Playoff Battle-

The top 6 seeds are pretty well established in the Prospect League. Foot was eliminated a long time ago. Trudem, Brock, Redseat and Trudem all sit 11 or more games behind sixth place JD. They all appear to be longshots to make a playoff push at this point.

7th place Molsan is 7.5 games behind JD and 8 behind OBX. If he can notch a big win against AZ Sting this week, he could make this race much more interesting. JD plays Trudem and OBX will look to knock off Milk.

Good luck to all this week!

After trouncing Milk 8-2 this week, I have made it back to a tie for third. Only a few more weeks to catch Driaz for second and a bye.

Prospect League Weekly Review

The Race for First

Micro is still in charge here, but Driaz gained a little ground with a 7-2-1 victory over Redseat. Micro's 6-4 win over Brock was enough for him to maintain a 3.5 game cushion. Both Micro and Driaz have pulled away from the rest of the field though, and seem to be headed for first round playoff byes.

This week, Micro plays Redseat and Driaz goes up against Milkspiller.

The Hunt for the Playoffs

The playoff teams appear pretty well established, as the teams in 6th and 7th are headed in opposite directions. Molsan is now 10.5 games behind 6th place JD after taking a 7-3 beating at the hands of AZ Sting.

Only 6 games separate 3rd seeded Smitty from 6th seeded JD, so seeding is very much up in the air. With only 2 weeks left however, it is a near certainty that the Smitty, OBX, Milk and JD will join Driaz and Micro in the post season.

Good luck to all this week!
